CLUJ DROP GAME IN FRANCE, DESPITE GREAT OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE FROM MOLDOVEANU

Despite a very good performance from Vlad Moldoveanu, who tallied up 24 points on a 63.6% shooting night and added 3 rebounds and 1 assist on the night, U-BT Cluj Napoca couldn’t face the offensive barrage from FIBA Europe Cup opponent Pau Orthez.

With an honored guest present at the match in the person of legendary romanian player George Muresan, the french team left nothing to chance and took charge straight away keeping the romanians at arm’s length always down by 10-15 points. The match ended 103 – 83 in favor of the hosts, thus ending Cluj’s chances of advancing from Group O of the Fiba Europe Cup tournament.

Vlad and the team will look to quickly forget this loss as they take on LNBM newcomer BCM Olimpic Baia Mare in just two days time where more than surely, victory is the only thing they expect as Baia Mare Coach Sebastian Man will have his hands full with the rejuvenated offence from Vlad Moldoveanu who is already showing signs of getting back to nightly MVP performances.
