CLUJ HEAD TO ROMANIAN CUP FINAL AFTER DISPATCHING STEAUA BUCHAREST

Another night, another victim for Vlad as he, once again lead U-BT Cluj-Napoca to a strong W against Steaua CSM EximBank Bucharest, this time, in the semi-finals of the Romanian Cup.

Cluj used a strong second quarter to go up by 15 and would not relinquish the double digit lead until the end, finishing Steaua off 88 to 75. This marks the third win of the season against Steaua, currently second place in the LNBM and it has Cluj looking like a heavyweight title contender at this point.

Vlad Moldoveanu played a pivotal role in the affair, scoring 21 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and a couple of steals in just under 36 minutes of play for a +/- rating of 12.
