After their untimely exit from the Eurocup at the hands of Paris Levallois, PGE Turow Zcorzelec were hoping to end the season with another Polish League Title.
Going up 2 – 0 in the finals, gave them the feel that, it would only be a matter of time until they raised the title banner in Zgorzelec once more. However, Stelmet Zielona Gora had other plans, mounting an almost unprecedented run, taking game 3 on a thriller, then game 4, tying things up at 2 – 2, and then gaining two more victories by 8 and respectively 6 points, enough for them to upset the title favorite Turow.
Vlad ended up with 2.1 points and 1.5 rebounds on an average of roughly 10 minutes per game what can thus be only explained as uninspired from Coach Miodrag Rajkovic, limiting the minutes of one of the top perimeter and long range shooters on the team.
The time is now to enjoy a short break and look forward to the 2015 / 2016 season, that looks no less promising than the one that has just ended.
